It has been 15 years since the introduction of the Patents Act in 1994. Since then it has undergone many amendments, some major while others minor, as the patent system in Singapore is being fine tuned.

This second edition includes the changes to the Patents Act since 2005, as well as discussion on some of the important Singapore judgments on the landmark cases decided after 2005, namely:
