Administrative Law of Macau was an adaptation of the first Portuguese edition of a similar book co-authored by the authors at the invitation of the Legal and Judicial Training Centre of the Macau Special Administrative Region. It follows the theoretical classes of Administrative Law taught in the second year studies in the Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra and is intended to serve as a ‘script’ for those who are studying Administrative Law.

This manual will serve as a good starting point of investigation and practical tips to all those dealing with the Public Administration and the branch of law that specifically regulates its public law activities, as well as aiding student’s study of Administrative Law.

José Eduardo Figueiredo Dias, lecturer, Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra. He has a Masters Degree in Public Law and recently completed his PhD Dissertation. Formerly legal adviser, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, the Government of Macau Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.
