About the Author

Nigel Meeson

is Barrister at Law, Quadrant Chambers. Nigel Meeson graduated with 1st Class honours in Jurisprudence from Magdalen College, Oxford in 1981 and was called to the Bar in 1982. After a short time with a London P & I Club and lecturing in International Trade and Commercial law he has been in practice at the Bar in London specialising in shipping, insurance, aviation and other aspects of international trade and transport, commercial litigation and international and domestic arbitration and mediation.

 

John Kimbell's

practice encompasses maritime law, aviation, insurance and re-insurance in addition to general commercial litigation and arbitration. He is praised in the Chambers and Partners legal directory as "a very effective advocate who is good with judges and authorities" and is recommended in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners as a leading junior in the fields of Shipping and Commodities, Aviation, and Travel.
