Paulo Fohlin has twenty years of experience of dispute resolution work at the Swedish law firm Vinge. He acts as adviser and counsel in international and domestic arbitration and litigation, and in investment treaty arbitration. He also accepts appointments as arbitrator. His experience with dispute resolution covers a variety of industry sectors. Over the years, he has regularly attained recognition in leading international dispute resolution directories, such as recently in the 2009 edition of Global Arbitration Review, as well as in Chambers and Partners’ The World’s Leading Lawyers, the Legal Media Group’s Guides to the World’s Leading Lawyers, and others. Mr. Fohlin studied contracts and torts at the University of Minnesota Law School, and then earned his L.L.M. at the Uppsala University Faculty of Law. He has taken the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators course in international commercial arbitration, and has taken the institute’s exams in international award writing and practice and procedure. He has also earned a diploma in international commercial arbitration given under the seal of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and he is a member of the editorial board of Asian Dispute Review, the International Chamber of Commerce’s Hong Kong Standing Commission of Arbitration, the International Bar Association, the Swedish Arbitration Association, the Arbitration Club of Gothenburg, the Swedish Bar Association, and the Hong Kong Law Society. He is a frequent author and lecturer on his areas of expertise.
Naoki Iguchi is a partner with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune. He has been working in the area of international commercial arbitration and cross-border litigation. He has acted as an arbitrator as well as counsel for cases arbitrated under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Japanese Bar Association’s dispute resolution center, and Chinese local arbitration institutions. His specialties are merger and acquisition disputes, distributorship disputes, and technology-related disputes, including product liability. He has advised clients with various nationalities, including those from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and parties from other jurisdictions as well as Japan. Mr. Iguchi is a frequent speaker and author on his areas of expertise. He earned his L.L.B. and an L.L.M. from the University of Tokyo, and an L.L.M. from Stanford Law School. He has also completed studies at Beijing Language University.
Jennifer Lin is the managing partner of Tsar & Tsai Law Firm and has been practicing law since 1980. She specializes in dispute resolution, intellectual property law, antitrust, corporate law, foreign investment, and mergers and acquisitions, and she has over twenty-eight years of experience representing multinational companies in complex domestic and international transactions and business disputes. She has assisted high-tech companies in technology joint venture, patent licensing, and fair trade cases and has represented multinational companies in domestic and foreign litigation and arbitration matters. Ms. Lin is a frequent speaker on intellectual property law and is recognized by Asia Law and Practice as one of the leading lawyers in Taiwan for intellectual property and dispute resolution in 2008. She is president of the Asia Patent Attorneys Association’s Taiwan group. In addition, she serves as the director of the National Taiwan University Law Foundation and the Harvard Club in Taiwan, as a commissioner for the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association and the Chinese National Federation of Industries, and as an advisor of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Academy. She earned her L.L.B. from National Taiwan University and her L.L.M. from Harvard Law School.
Philip Nunn is a partner with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. He has thirty-five years of post-admission experience in dispute resolution matters. He has extensive experience of major litigation and arbitration, including significant experience as an arbitrator. He joined Huen Wong & Co. in association with Fried Frank as a partner in April 2007. Prior to that he was a partner at Simmons & Simmons for more than twenty years, and before that he was head of the Lands and Works Unit in the Attorney General’s Chambers, responsible for all legal advice to the government departments implementing development and construction projects. Mr. Nunn is a justice of the peace, a member of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre panel of arbitrators, a member of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission panel of arbitrators, and a member of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board panel of arbitrators. He is a former member of the Housing Authority, and he was chairman of the building committee of the Housing Authority for four years. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators. He received his education at Woodhouse Grove School and Nottingham University.
