Brian Thompson, Senior Lecturer, Liverpool University, and Michael Allen, Commissioner at the Criminal Cases Review Commission and formerly Professor of Law at Newcastle Law School

Brian Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Liverpool Law School, University of Liverpool. He is a member of the advisory body, The Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council.

Michael Allen, formerly Professor of Law at Newcastle Law School, University of Newcastle, is now Commissioner of the Criminal Cases Review Commission. He is the author of a number of leading legal books, including Textbook on Criminal Law, also published by OUP.
