The 1st supplement to the 12th edition of Charlesworth & Percy on Negligence brings the main work up to date with all the latest developments. 

The new supplement includes coverage of three key decisions by the Supreme Court not featured in the main work:

• Jones v Kaney [2011] a recent decision of the Supreme Court ending the immunity of expert witnesses
• Sienkiewicz v Greif (UK) Ltd [2011] illustrating the application of the Fairchild/Barker exception in mesothelioma claims
