Remedies is a practical yet challenging subject which is invoked in almost every legal dispute. Dr Cheong obtained an LLB from the University of Malaya, Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore, Diploma in Shariah Law & Practice from the International Islamic University and Phd from the University of Sydney. Dr Cheong was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in 1986 and joined academia in 1989, and is currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya.
