Companies Acts 2014

The Companies Act 2014 represents the most significant reform in Irish corporate law in two generations, comprising 25 Parts, 1,448 sections and 17 Schedules. The Act repeals in full some 32 enactments, restating much of that law into structured groups, as well as amending other provisions and codifying judicial developments in certain areas. 

This single enactment represents the modern statement of the law applicable to the formation of companies, administration and management to their winding up and dissolution, incorporating the rights and duties of their officers, members and creditors.
