About the Author

Peter Hanks QC completed an LLM at the University of Pennsylvania and taught at the University of Sydney and Monash University for 25 years before joining the Victorian Bar in 1991, where he practises in constitutional and administrative law. He is the author of the first seven editions of Australian Constitutional Law and founding author of this book.

 

Frances Gordon, a member of the Victorian Bar practises in public and commercial law. She was associate to Justice Hayne of the High Court of Australia and senior associate in the litigation department of Allens Arthur Robinson, and was awarded a Bachelor of Civil Laws by the University of Oxford in 2011.

 

Graeme Hill, a member of the Victorian Bar practises in constitutional and administrative law. He previously worked for the Commonwealth government, including as counsel assisting the Commonwealth Solicitor-General. He was an associate to Justice Hayne, completed an LLM at Columbia University in 2001, and teaches at the University of Melbourne.
