About the Author

Dante Buenbrazo Gatmaytan, Professor at the University of the Philippines’ College of Law, received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University (B.S. Legal Management) in 1987 and earned his law degree from the University of the Philippines in 1991. He holds Masters Degrees from Vermont Law School (cum laude) and the University of California, Los Angeles. He teaches Constitutional Law, Local Government Law, and Legal Method, among other courses.
