Reviews

"It has surprisingly taken over eleven years for this second edition of Contract Law to be published.  ... Time has not, however, done anything to diminish the quality of Roger Halson's Contract Law.  It continues to provide a thought-provoking and engaging account of contract law presented in an unusual (but excellent) way.

Halson's approach of taking the reader through the journey of a contract's lifetime, rather than looking at aspects of contract law in individual chapters, is excellent and one of the keys to the text's success. ...

Halson's analysis and approach to the study of contract law is second to none.  It is clear, crisp and concise while, at the same time, academically stimulating.  The footnotes include a number of additional resources and provide an excellent platform for further research.  This approach means that the key principles of contract law can be quickly understood: a fundamental objective for anyone studying contract law for the first time."
