About the Author

Penny Crofts is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has been teaching and researching in criminal law for over 20 years and has a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, a Master of Philosophy in Criminology from Cambridge and a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Griffith University.
