About the Author

Stanley Yeo

Stanley Yeo is a professorial fellow at the National University of Singapore. He is an internationally renowned comparative law scholar who has studied the criminal laws of various jurisdictions for over thirty years. His previous books on criminal law include Compulsion in the Criminal Law; Fault in Homicide; Unrestrained Killings and the Law; and Criminal Defences in Australia.

Neil Morgan

Neil Morgan is Inspector of Custodial Services for Western Australia and an adjunct professor at the University of Western Australia. He has been a staff member and visiting professor at the National University of Singapore and was a co-author of Criminal Law in Singapore and Malaysia: Text and Materials. He has undertaken numerous research and law reform projects on criminal law, sentencing and corrections in the Asia Pacific region.

Chan Wing Cheong
Chan Wing Cheong is an associate professor at the National University of Singapore. He specialises in criminal law and family law and has published extensively in these areas. The books on criminal law that he has been involved in include Fundamental Principles of Criminal Law: Cases and Materials; Support for Victims of Crime in Asia; Codification, Macaulay and the Indian Penal Code; and Criminal Law for the 21st Century: A Model Code for Singapore.
