Crown Court Index 2015

The Crown Court Index 2015 provides an index of common penalties and formalities in cases tried on indictment or committed for sentence in the Crown Court, as well as appeals in criminal proceedings. This edition includes coverage of:

• The new Criminal Behaviour Orders under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, which replace and extend the scope of the former ASB
• Other parts of that Act and sections of the Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014, not yet brought into effect
• The Lord Chief Justice’s new Criminal Practice Directions
• Extensive coverage of sentencing guidelines cases on causing death by dangerous and careless driving including: R. v Zhao (2013); R. v Rahman (2013); R. v Murlewski (2013)
• Amendment No 1 to the Lord Chief Justice’s Practice Direction on Costs in Criminal Cases, which comes into effect of October 6, 2014
