In it, Valsamis Mitsilegas critcally examines key issues in EU criminal law emerging after the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty and addresses the implications of recent legislative, judicial and constitutional developments (including the constitutionalisation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights) for the future of European criminal justice.
