About the Author

Damian D. Capozzola
Damian D. Capozzola is a litigator in the Commercial Litigation and Health Care practices in the Los Angeles office of Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C. Since graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1996, Mr. Capozzola has been litigating in state and federal courts from Hawaii to Delaware, and has published and lectured on expert witness issues and on using technology to maximize litigation success.

Walter R Lancaster
Walter R. Lancaster is a trial lawyer and partner at Kirkland & Ellis. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, product liability, mass tort and information technology cases. Mr. Lancaster has tried cases and practiced before state and federal courts throughout the country and is a member of the trial bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. His cases are often expert intensive and have included such diverse disciplines as epidemiology, biomechanics, toxicology, dose and risk assessment and legal ethics. He has previously written on the subject of expert witnesses in "Choosing Your Weapons: The Art of Expert Cross-Examination" in Litigation, the Journal of the Section of Litigation, American Bar Association.
