The Civil Justice (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 2008, enacted in February 2008, is the first step in implementing Civil Justice Reform in Hong Kong. As acknowledged by the Steering Committee on Civil Justice Reform, the 2008 Ordinance implements some of the key recommendations set out in the Final Report of the Chief Justice's Working Party on Civil Justice Reform.
