About the Author

Sarah Nield is a solicitor and was formerly Senior Lecturer in Hong Kong University. She is now teaching Property and Company Law at the University of Southampton in the U.K., but maintains a keen interest in Hong Kong law which is supported by frequent visits to Hong Kong. For the past three years she has been an external examiner in Land Law for the Hong Kong Common Professional Examination.
