M Rafiqul Islam is a Professor of Law at Macquarie University, Australia. He has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising PhDs, and researching in the area of international law for the last 38 years both in Australia and overseas. He has published extensively in this area, including books on international refugee law ans international trade law. He is an alumnus of Monash University, Australia.
