During that past decade, the legislature has continued to enact a variety of important property related ordinances generating widespread case law. This legislation has required new chapters on compulsory resumption of land for urban renewal, compulsory purchase by majority owners of minority shares, government rent and the environment. A new chapter extends the analysis of pollution, drainage and sewage legislation to the Environment Impact Assessment Ordinance. Victoria harbour legislation and landmark case law is included in an expanded reclamations chapter.
