Details

Like the previous editions, this book is designed to give companies and their legal advisers critical insight into the increasingly complex and important questions they face when considering whether to apply for Leniency.

Since the last edition was published in 2007, the multiplication of Leniency Regimes around the globe has continued, programmes having been introduced for the first time in, India, Spain, Estonia and Turkey. There are now important differences in relations to the types of infringements covered by the Leniency Regime, the amount of evidence required to support an immunity application and the extent of on-going co-operation with the authorities.

This jurisdictional overview provides an up-to-date analysis of leniency regimes for business involved in cross-border activities, and is an invaluable tool for general counsel and their private practice advisers.
