Harry Chan and Ting-kwok Iu, MH
Harry Chan has been a practising barrister in Hong Kong since 2019. His practice focuses on civil and matrimonial law. He is also an HKMAAL accredited General Mediator. Before his call to the Bar, he served as a Judicial Assistant at the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal from 2017 to 2018.
In terms of publications, he was a research assistant for Hong Kong Mediation Manual (3rd Edition) and a co-author of the book chapter entitled "Right to Family" in Law of the Hong Kong Constitution (3rd Edition).
Ting-kwok Iu, MH
Ting-kwok Iu ("TK") is an adjunct professor of the Department of Law, University of Hong Kong; School of Law, City University of Hong Kong; and Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
Between 2013 and 2017, he advised the Department of Justice, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on the enactment of the apology legislation. The Apology Ordinance came into effect on 1 December 2017. In 2017, TK was awarded a Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of mediation. At present, TK is a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Legal and Dispute Resolution Services and the Working Group on Mediation Regulatory System, both chaired by the Secretary for Justice of HKSAR.
TK is a solicitor with over 34 years of standing. He is also a general mediator, family mediator and family mediator supervisor accredited by HKMAAL.
TK is listed by Doyle's Guide 2021 to 2025 as a leading family law mediator in Hong Kong. Lexology ranked TK as a Commercial Mediation Thought Leader in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR in 2025.
TK is a co-author of Hong Kong Mediation Manual (3rd Edition) and The Annotated Ordinances of Hong Kong: Mediation Ordinance (Cap.620) (2022 Reissue).
