About the Author

Jim McElhaney has been the profession's premier source of litigation advice for more than 30 years. His Litigation column appeared every month in the ABA Journal for 25 years. His Trial Notebook column appeared four times a year for nearly 30 years in Litigation magazine. Not counting reprints, there were well over 350 articles (almost all available in books published by the ABA). In addition, McElhaney devoted many years to law school teaching, hundreds of CLE appearances, trial consulting, and more.
