He has been a Magistrate, Sessions Court Judge, Research Officer, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Senior Federal Counsel, Senior Deputy Public Prosecutor, Head of the Prosecution Unit, Johor and Head of the Appeals Units in the headquarters of the Attorney General?s Chambers. He is currently an Industrial Court Chairman based in Kuala Lumpur.

Master of Laws in International Air & Space, Leiden University, The Netherlands Master of Comparative Law, IIUM Master Social Science (Defence Studies) UKM LL.B (Hons) First Class IIUM Diploma Aviation USA Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya Commissioner for Oaths Colonel Wan Normazlan bin Che Jaafar RMAF is currently the Director of Human Resource Development of the Royal Malaysian Air Force. He is a pilot and has also served as the Director of Legal Department RMAF. He has also been a prosecutor and president of courts-martial. Colonel Wan Normazlan has been involved in the teaching and training of Malaysian Armed Forces personnel on the subject of Military Law and Operational Law.
