About the Author

Ian Serisier was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1973 and since then his practice has been mostly in family law. For a period of 5 years he was counsel with a firm of solicitors. He is a qualified family law mediator and arbitrator. Ian is an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law Sydney – Master of Applied Laws – Family Law. He was the author and co-author of a number of LexisNexis family law publications.

 

Together with Judge Tom Altobelli of the Federal Circuit Court, he was the author of the second and third editions of this book.
