Prior to being called to the Bar in Hong Kong in 1991, Osmond was called to the English Bar in 1988, did a master degree in University of London, and served under the Crown Prosecution Service as a prosecutor for almost 2 years in the Inner London area.

Osmond accrued an impressive 30 years of experience in litigating and advising on criminal matters since 1992, earning him the distinction of being one of the most dedicated and seasoned criminal barristers in Hong Kong.

Osmond's trial advocacy is of the highest calibre in Hong Kong, particularly the instinctive style of his cross-examination which allows him to expose weaknesses in the evidence of a witness.
