About the Author

Rowena Maguire is a Lecturer in Queensland University of Technology’s Law Faculty teaching in the areas of international law, environmental law and development and foreign aid law.

Bridget Lewis is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Queensland University of Technology. Bridget's principal research interests relate to international human rights law, particularly the area of environmental human rights.

Charles Sampford is Professor and Foundation Dean of Law at Griffith University, Australia. He is also Director of the Institute for Ethics, Governance and Law, a joint initiative with the United Nations University, Griffith, QUT, ANU, Jindal Global University and the Center for Asian Integrity in Manila.
