About the Author

Trevor Boutall is principal consultant of The Management Standards Consultancy. Trevor has been involved in learning and professional development since 1983, first with the Rapid Results College and then with the Open College, the Management Charter Initiative and the Open University Business School.

The late Bill Blackburn was a solicitor with a background in private practice and commerce. A founder of the Franco-British Lawyers' Society, he was the Chairman of the Law Society International Committee and of the British Council Law Advisory Committee.
