Special Import : The Rules of Court 2012** will come into effect on 1 August 2012. It combines the Rules of Subordinate Courts 1980 and the Rules of High Court 1980, streamlining procedures in civil cases in the Subordinate Courts and the High Courts. As a result, portions of the existing rules of court have undergone significant changes. All legal professionals and the academia in the country will need to understand the way in which these changes will impact their practice and how this would change the landscape of civil procedure in Malaysia.
