About the Author

Professor Rosalind Croucher (formerly Atherton) was appointed to the Australian Law Reform Commission in 2007 after a distinguished period of 25 years in University teaching and management, most recently as Dean of Law at Macquarie University, where she remains a Professor.

Professor Prue Vines is Director of First Year Studies and Co-director of the Private Law Research and Policy Group at the University of New South Wales.
