Michael Zander QC is Emeritus Professor of Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was a member of the Runciman Royal Commission on Criminal Justice (1991-1993). For twenty five years he was Legal Correspondent of The Guardian. He is a frequent broadcaster on radio and television. He is recognised as the foremost authority on PACE.
