The Professional Conduct of Lawyers in Hong Kong provides a comprehensive source of material and discussion of professional practice for students attending the Postgraduate Certificate of Laws course and the Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination course.

This book incorporates cases from Hong Kong and several other Commonwealth jurisdictions including England and Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. The book also contains comprehensive coverage of the main provisions of the Hong Kong Solicitors’ Guide to Professional Conduct and the Bar Code.

Written more than ten years after the first edition, this new text includes many new cases and takes into account changes that have been made in the professional codes. Professional conduct is a subject that is constantly evolving and the need for all lawyers to keep abreast of changes in this area is obvious.
