The View Magazine content is written by serving women prisoners, women on license and those affected by the incarceration of women. Guided by an Advisory Board consists of leading legal professionals, parliamentarians and women with lived experience.

Do you ever wonder what happens to your client once they have been sentenced and how she will navigate her life from then on?The View Magazine, for women with conviction, is a magazine created by and for women in the criminal justice system.

The View calls for radical policy transformation for women in the English criminal justice system. Over 80% have diagnosed mental health conditions, over 54% have been abused. Re-offending costs upwards of £13bn a year. Something is not working. Your subscription supports paid content by serving prisoners, which is released to them when they are discharged from prison.

The View also contains content by leading jurists and human rights advocates to demystify the process of incarceration and resettlement under license for women. With a focus on mental health and resilience, using art and words as the medium to express freedom and frustration, The View is a currently quarterly A4 format with 64 pages of art, poems, her-stories and fresh thinking.
