About the Author

Patrick Mugliston B. Juris LLM (UWA) is a barrister at Francis Burt Chambers and has taught criminal law, contract law and civil procedure. He is a reporter for the WA State Law Reports in mining law, State Administrative Tribunal and District Court decisions.

Hal Colebatch BA (Hons) MA B Juris LLB PhD was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia in 1981. He was awarded an Australian Centenary Award in 2003 for services to law, writing, political commentary, and poetry.
