Real estate valuation requires skill, judgment and experience. There is no prescriptive way in which to value any property: the approach is down to the valuer. Ollie Saunders BSc MRICS is a valuation partner of Drivers Jonas Deloitte, where he leads the team that specialises in advising
corporate and public sector clients. He has over 15 years’ valuation experience.

'Unique little handbook which rolls up it's sleeves and sets out straight forward valuation formats with a brief summary of the approach. It's also handy as a reminder of points to consider. Perhaps future editions could extend to the investment valuation of shops with residential uppers and leasehold reform act valuations would be handy too. Should have been written years ago - I would have appreciated this as a student as well as a practitioner.

Seems expensive but it's chock full of know-how so good value.'
