About the Author

Gary Meggitt

Gary Meggitt practised insurance litigation with several leading firms in the UK before joining BPP University in London in 2002. In 2005, he was appointed as the Course Director of its Full-Time Bar Vocational Course (‘BVC’). He joined the University of Hong Kong in 2007 and teaches civil litigation, commercial dispute resolution and professional practice on the PCLL as well as insurance law on the Law Faculty’s degree programmes. Gary is a member of the Hong Kong Law Society’s Insurance Law Committee and Working Party on Litigation Funding. He is also a member of the Examining Panel of the Hong Kong Higher Rights Assessment Board.
