About the Author

Jo Samanta is Principal Lecturer in Law at De Montfort University, where she convenes the medical law module. She has published widely in journals such as Medical Law Review, and Journal of Law and Society.

Dr Ash Samanta is Consultant Rheumatologist, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and part-time Lecturer in Law at De Montfort University. He has published in journals such as Medical Law Review and theBritish Medical Journal.
