Details

This is the Fifth Edition of this best-selling book. It provides a comprehensive summary of the current state of the law in this heavily litigated area, updated to include all the recent Court of Appeal decisions in this area. Issues covered include rates, impecuniosity, mitigation and various enforceability issues.

Aidan Ellis is a barrister at Temple Garden Chambers practising in credit hire and personal injury. He has written and lectured on credit hire and is also the co-editor of the Personal Injury Brief Update Law Journal (www.pibriefupdate.com).

Tim Kevan practised as a barrister for ten years specialising in, among other things, credit hire. He appeared in the Court of Appeal cases of Zoan v Rouamba and Ketley v Gilbert and was described by Chambers and Partners (in 2009) as "the credit hire junior". He is currently the co-editor of the Personal Injury Brief Update Law Journal (www.pibriefupdate.com).
