About the Author

 Richard A. Swanson is professor and director of the Human Resource Development Research Center at the University of Minnesota and senior partner of Swanson & Associates, Incorporated. Swanson is an internationally recognized authority on organizational change, resource development (HRD), the analysis and evaluation of work behavior, and forecasting financial benefits.

 

 

Elwood F. Holton, III is an Associate Professor in the School of Vocational Education at Louisiana State University. He specializes in Human Resource Development/Training and Development and coordinates LSU's degree programs in these areas. He is also the President-elect of the Academy of Human Resource Development, a global association of HRD researchers and reflective practitioners.
