Details

The third edition of Employment and Labour Law provides a concise and accessible guide for practitioners, and legal departments and human resource professionals.

Evidenced by the relevant chapters in this book, there is a continuing impetus to uphold common standards in relation to working conditions, collective redundancies, part-time and temporary work, health and safety at work, maternity and paternal leave, equal pay for equal work. Internationally the European Union has a key role to play in promoting high standards. In these changing times the law must continue to be applied from country to country whilst people are managed globally. Human resource professionals will welcome this edition as keeping up with global developments is important to them. They along with counterparts in other countries will expect their employment law advisers to be equipped to advice them about these issues.

This book is a must-have for any company dealing with employment issues around the world.
