From crisis tools to strategy. This edition covers in detail two frameworks, explaining how the EU has turned State aid crisis frameworks into strategic tools, looking in particular at the transition from the TCTF to the CISAF.

Taking stock of the twin transitions. State aid is a key pillar of the green and digital transitions. This edition examines trends in the application of the CEEAG, the Broadband Guidelines, the RRF, and the IPCEIs to assess whether State aid is driving Europe forward along the path outlined in the Draghi Report.

The varying scope of the concept of State aid. The use of State aid to combat unfair taxation has been the most striking example of a bold reliance on Article 107. This edition assesses the Commission’s decisions and the various related Court rulings, together with other major cases showing that the concept of aid continues to evolve with the times.

Latest regulatory developments.
