The book, which is a successor to 2016’s popular Dual-use Export Controls of the EU, updates the earlier volume’s content in the light of the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union, the new ‘recast’ Regulation 821/2021, and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Additionally, it has been expanded to include EEA members Norway and Switzerland, Israel, and key EU candidate countries.

Dual-use Export Controls in Europe is an important reference for any business or person concerned with European export controls. It includes an introduction to the EU dual-use export control regime, along with information on the individual country regimes, and licensing contact details and procedures.

Structurally, chapters take a Q&A form to address must-know information for exporters e.g.,

National licences and procedures/requirements for obtaining authorisations
National legislation and key authorities responsible for legislating, enforcing and prosecuting export controls within each jurisdiction
