Hong Kong Civil Court Practice Desk Edition 2014 is your reliable source for the most up-to-date information on practice and procedure in the High Court. It is a practitioner's reference work containing the Rules of the High Court with extensive commentary by a team of experts. The Desk Edition is a handy, portable and easy-to-read volume citable in court.

The 2014 Edition reflects the extensive amendment of the Companies Ordinance and subsidiary legislation which took effect in March 2014. Many of the High Court Rules are affected, from Order 23 on Security for Costs, to Order 102, the Order dedicated to proceedings under the Companies Ordinance. These amendments are all incorporated in Desk Edition 2014, along with updated and revised commentary on the affected provisions.

Many other recent developments are incorporated, from the latest cases to practice directions such as PD 20.3, which came into force in January 2014, dealing with Beddoe applications.
