This work is being designed specifically for Australian readers, and will concentrate on material relevant to them and can omit much of the detail contained in the mainly British-sourced texts presently used in EU Law subjects in Australia. The book leads the reader through the maze of EU law and provides them with the tools to use it. The authors have sought to give a sense of the political and historical factors affecting the development of EU law and some of the underlying theory. The reader is referred to more detailed sources where necessary.
